简介: 经营澡堂的五十岚夫妇和三个儿女过着家庭和睦、美满幸福的生活。父亲元太入赘前本名为白波纯平。25年前，因事故遇难的白波纯平被科学研究组织诺亚收录为071号实验体，在诺亚所长东山的命令下，他被科学家狩崎真澄植入了基夫细胞后复活重生，成为恶魔猎手。为了找回失去的记忆，白波纯平听从组织的命令，变身成假面骑士贝尔与恶魔战斗。打败恶魔后，他回想起父母被恶魔害死的记忆。体内的贝尔许诺会帮他复仇，因此白波纯平成为科学研究组织诺亚的手下，为找到那只害死父母的红色恶魔而开始不断地战斗。在一次任务中，冲击波造成了建筑坍塌，白波纯平也被埋在了废墟中，并与五十岚幸实相遇。
