简介: 康噶湖是Mana Pools国家公园内一个相对不为人知的内陆湖，是各种野生动物物种在津巴布韦的最大聚集点。在一年中的干旱月份，康噶湖为周围数英里的野生动物提供了唯一的水源，表面上大家都各自融洽和睦的取水而用，但其中则隐藏着巨大的恐怖阴影：一个“匿名”的捕食者在折磨着大量的野生动物，逍遥法外的凶手是谁？又是谁在威胁其他野生动物们的日常生活？本片主人公狒狒大叔决定进行调查，找出藏在幕后的真凶，这样就可以保护自己的家族和其他邻近的食草动物。随着杀戮的继续，狒狒发现了越来越多的证据，直到一天夜里他亲眼目睹了一场杀戮的始末。在雨季来临前，狒狒能否保护自己和他的家族平安无恙？动物界的残酷远超人类的想象，对于狒狒家族和所有野生动物来说，等待它们的永远都是未知。
