简介: 民国初年，有香木镇。香木镇以香溪西侧耿家为首户，耿家凭掸子闻名。掸子用鸡毛扎就，普普通通的手艺，经耿家之手扎出了名堂。光绪年间，耿家的一把红光宝掸，竟让宫里花了二十万两白银。传到耿佩奇耿老爷手里，世道变了，可掸子的名声和价值没变。耿家每年只出一把掸子，五万块大洋一把，山外的达官贵人还得排着队来请。能请到耿家宝掸，是世人的荣耀，更是香木镇的荣耀。因此耿家便是香木镇的荣耀。但是耿家的家底空了，就空在鸡毛掸子上。
