简介: 1927年8月，南昌起义部队转战到瑞金，在瑞金播下了革命的火种。在老师李汉生的引领下，学生富贵加入红军，加入共产党。放牛娃长锁与富贵自幼相识，为保卫来之不易的革命成果，长锁踊跃报名参加了红军。在中央红色医院，富贵和长锁打破封建的枷锁，为女护士红姑解决了包办婚姻的问题。富贵的同学陈时，身处国民党阵营中，在受到了富贵的革命感召后，也决定弃暗投明，秘密成为地下党员。富贵、长锁、红姑、陈时及他们的革命战友，积极参与中华苏维埃共和国的建设，忘我地投身到革命洪流中。
