简介: 平江市公安局刑警大队长左玉因怀疑妻子苗萍不忠闯入某豪华宾馆举行的财政局会议，妻子愤然提出离婚。与此同时，西郊公园发生一桩命案，死者是龙翔集团财务总监杜安。三江集团董事长徐栋因到过现场被指证逮捕，当左玉展开对徐栋的竞争对手龙翔集团老板顾忠石、顾忠山兄弟进行调查时，佩枪莫名丢失，并被控酒后强奸未遂。遭解职开除的左玉不甘心被人诬陷，决心独自侦破，被释放的徐栋主动向左玉提出合作。线索上的证人接连遇害，凶犯进入看守所后逃跑，其使用的枪支正是左玉丢失的佩枪，嫌疑人霍钢遭“意外死亡”，主犯顾忠山被捕后却获无罪释放。备受打击的左玉和不满看守所内部黑幕的林江联袂向黑恶势力出击，并最终抓获了真正的杀人凶手顾氏兄弟，摧毁了横霸一方的龙翔集团，而隐藏在其身后充当保护伞的公安局副局长楚强却对左玉举起了枪……
