简介: 民国初年的某一天，一群匪徒冲进江南乌泽小镇的林家，以平判乱党之名进行满门抄斩，睡梦中的林家小少爷林文宣被—个大他十岁的童养媳秀秀冒死救出火海，并亲眼目睹了父母被杀的场面。在之后的流浪与乞讨的生活中，五岁的林文宣又与秀秀失散，不得已被卖进戏班学艺，苦不堪言，多舛的命运并不因他的苦难而停止。辗转在馄饨店当学徒的林文宣又被邻家的旗袍店所吸引，之后遇上旗袍大师叶顺天，天生聪慧的林文宣对旗袍情有独衷，打动大师收他为徒。在天份与勤奋中，林文宣成为了当年上海滩红极一时的旗袍大师，也因此与秀秀相逢并得到过宋美龄亲书牌匾奖励。至此，生意兴隆的春水坊旗袍店，招来同行的嫉妒，一封匿名信又将他推入生命的再次波折。
