简介: 农村姑娘俞天然与曾蒙受冤屈的青年周紫建相遇于患难之中，改革开放潮促使他们决心摆脱困窘，夫妇二人于艰辛中在江南古城镇江创办了一家颇具规模的鸽厂，不料，因婚姻结怨，周紫建遭人暗算，使厂倒闭。周紫建并未就此沉沦，南下广州重新开辟新天地，年轻的女子罗琪被周紫建不屈不挠的精神所打动，让自己在广东服装业颇具实力的哥哥罗鑫大力扶持周紫建在广州立足，并打开局面。不过周紫建万没想到这位服装业巨商罗鑫竟是当年使他蒙受冤屈的人，出于狭隘心理，他让其妹罗琪深爱上自己，却又对她极不负责任，以此报复罗鑫。罗鑫受到刺激后，转而利用他在服装界的影响力，使出种种手段试图挤垮事业上已有相当气候的周紫建，以此作为对周的回应，周于危难之中受到罗鑫生意上的对手叶蝉的帮助，方才勉强支撑住局面...
