简介: 正如黄仁宇先生的名著所言，万历十五年可称是平平无奇、无事发生的一年，在这年之后，各种精彩纷呈的滑稽戏轮番上演。申时行内阁的潦草收场，当中涉及到许许多多的因素，如明朝中后期士风败坏、阁权萎缩等，在士大夫人人以贬谪为登仙之途的风气下，又恰好碰上了一个富有攻势性思维的皇帝，谁都不肯退让一步，矛盾也就不断激化泛化，不再允许任何充当缓冲地带的角色出现，而和事佬申时行的离去，某种程度上也算是张居正之后，阁权一落千丈的明证。
