简介: 安乐死一向是颇具争议性的话题，该影片记录了波拉克医生帮助病人L夫人安乐死的全过程。L夫人的童年被暴力的阴霾笼罩着，父亲的言语暴力和肢体暴力给那个单纯的小女孩造成了严重的心理阴影。她之后的生活都被焦虑症深深困扰着、折磨着。生活赋予她不能承受的痛苦，她选择用死亡来解脱。波拉克医生按照安乐死审查委员会的要求安排着帮L夫人解脱。赫蒂是L夫人最好的朋友，陪伴着她走过了人生最后的旅程。L夫人从始至终的决绝，引人深思……
