简介: 影片讲述了一群卢旺达妇女治愈过去创伤，奔向光明未来的旅程。1994年，卢旺达发生了种族大屠杀，无数家庭因此而支离破碎，人与人之间的情感纽带几近断裂，信任危机席卷卢旺达。这群女性敢于迈出勇敢的一步，反抗种族大屠杀造成的破坏，成立了卢旺达由女性鼓手组成的鼓队，她们希望借此“翻开卢旺达历史的新篇章”。这群女人有不同的背景和不同的故事，但她们因相同的目标聚在一起。随着鼓队获得越来越多的认可，她们开始筹谋自己的人生，建立合作企业：卢旺达一家冰淇淋店。
