简介: 在东京的一支强大的初中排球队遭受严重麻烦之后，灰岛公誓就搬到了他在孩童时代去过的母亲的故乡福井，在那里度过了他的童年，并与童年时代的朋友黑羽祐仁团聚。黑羽祐仁具有出色的身体能力，但对身边的压力却无能为力，而因才华而与周围环境产生摩擦的灰岛公誓因黑羽的压倒性热情而和他成为了王牌组合一起成长。但是，他们在初中最后的县比赛上发生了冲突，尽管两人保持绝交，但却仍在当地的清阴高中就读。在男子排球俱乐部，正在等待他们的是身高163cm的热血队长，才华横溢且毒舌的副队长青木和因为讨厌被太阳晒到平时穿着长袖长裤的搭档棺野，还有来自高二的排球初学者大隈。2.43m，少年们的空中战场。一生一次，无法取代的这个时候。这是一个以被山围绕着却天空一片蔚蓝的福井为舞台，弱小的男子排球部目标瞄向全国大赛的热血青春故事。
