简介: 西北草原上，藏族塔秀部落居住在金滩，阿里仓部落居住在乌兰喏草地，两个部落因争夺银滩草场存有芥蒂。西北绥靖公署司令刘惠民为控制两个部落，千方百计利用他们之间的矛盾，让阿里仓部落搬到银滩居住。解放军进军草原，国民党残部鼠窜。大军进入两部落驻地，耐心调和由来已久的矛盾，终使其化干戈为玉帛。
