简介: 杭州，三面云山一面城，自古以来被称作天堂之城。 1904年，四位青年才俊，出自一种“把根留住”的朴素愿望，在杭州孤山上创立了以“研究金石，保存印学”为宗旨的西泠印社。此后历一百十五年风雨，孤山已成为一座令海内外仰止的金石圣山。丁辅之、王福庵、叶为铭和吴石潜，以一介布衣而开启百年名社，在晚清快速崩塌的危局里逆势而上，求解于中华文明不灭之道。群星丽天，他们被称为“西泠四君子”。吾道不孤，这究竟是怎样一群人？节目试图以西泠印社这样一个艺术社团作为中国文化的优质样本，对其百年命运和得失荣辱进行深入解读，将其与国运兴衰、国学传承、传统文化、文化自信连接起来进行思考，试图寻找出更多对未来发展以及符号延展有价值的结论。文化自信，正是《西泠印社》想要传达的文人结社之精神内核。一代宗师，就是《西泠印社》想要弘扬的文化引领之外在主旨。问道中国，即是《西泠印社》想要呈现的文化自信之百年传奇。
