简介: 1939年9月1日，德国纳粹入侵波兰，随后欧洲大片土地沦陷，二战就此打响。而在另一片大陆上，美国西海岸的加利福尼亚依旧繁华一片，好莱坞仍是个充满魅力与梦想的世界。然而面对这次世界战争，谁都无法置身事外，越来越多的著名电影厂开始制作抨击德国纳粹、意大利法西斯与日本帝国的电影。随着战事愈演愈烈，电影业各领域人才集结在了一起，制片人、发行商、演员、技术专家一起组建了庞大的宣传机器。他们响应政府号召，为战争筹资、为军民打气、甚至能在军队训练中起到巨大作用。好莱坞的这场史无前例的冒险就此展开……
