简介: 除了阿尔茨海默症以外，帕金森是全世界最常见的神经退行性疾病，仅在英国就有14.5万名患者，每小时就有两名患者确诊。在世界范围内，至今仍无法彻底治愈。英国布里斯托的一个医疗小组为了测试一种新药GDNF，邀请42名患者参与了一项历时五年的新药试验。这也是史上第一次，摄像机自始至终地跟拍，忠实记录了这次临床试验的过程，并披露了试验幕后的故事。到底GDNF是不是全世界几百万帕金森患者翘首期盼的特效药呢？医疗小组到底能不能证明它的疗效呢？
