简介: 自从人类因突然出现的未知生命体「伽德鲁」而陷入灭亡的危机，已经过了漫长的岁月。残存的人们为了从「伽德鲁」的威胁当中自保，而建造了全高3,000M的巨大移动要塞「DECA-DENCE」，并在其中生活。住在"DECA-DENCE"当中的是日夜与「伽德鲁」战斗的战士「齿轮」，以及没有战斗力的「槽者」。憧憬着与伽德鲁战斗的战士「齿轮」、并梦想着自己也能成为「齿轮」的「槽者」少女·枣，某天遇到了态度冷淡的DECA-DENCE装甲修理人·镝木。不放弃梦想的乐观少女，与放弃了梦想的现实主义男人。这两个乍一看完全相反之人的邂逅，在不久的将来会给这个世界的未来带来巨大的动荡。
