简介: 很久很久以前的时代，天空中白色王国，与地上的黑色王国，保持着“均衡”并同时“循环”着。有一天，在黑色王国因被怪物袭击而毁灭的村子里，一位少年正在挖坟墓。在那个少年面前出现了上一代黑暗之王候选人史基亚斯。被史基亚斯发现的少年，决心成为黑之王子改变这个世界。而另一方面，作为白色王国守护神的光之王爱丽丝，担心光与暗的平衡被破坏。在得到破坏平衡的巴尔出现的消息后，黑暗之王为了讨伐碍眼的巴尔提出盟约。光之王爱丽丝与黑暗王国的使者兼王子相遇，两人“约定”共同建立和平的世界。但是，两人的“约定”却被黑暗之王践踏。两人交换的“约定”与世界毁灭开始之罪，通向“根源”“ZERO”的故事拉开了帷幕――
