简介: 故事背景是遥远的未来，那里可能是也可能不是地球。漫长的战争结束后，许多武士沦落为作恶多端的野武士。神无村是一个盛产白米的村庄，每年到了收割时，野武士便会来到村子抢走村民辛勤种出来的白米，反抗者格杀勿论。村民无力反抗这些机械化的野武士，只好任由他们抢掠。除了白米外，野武士也随意掳走妇女。村民终于忍无可忍，决定要聘请武士去对抗野武士。农民利吉、“水之巫女”绮罗及其妹小町代表神无村前往城市寻找武士。神无村没有钱，只能以白米饭作为武士的酬劳。寻找武士的过程并不容易，要打败人数众多的野武士，至少需要找到七位武士。
